Mohali : Mohali Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi strongly condemned Punjab government’s increase in VAT on diesel and petrol and increase of Rs.3 per unit in electricity bills up to seven kilowatts. Bedi said that the decisions made by AAP is making people angry.
Kuljit Singh Bedi said that the Aam Aadmi Party government, which came to power by promising to provide relief to the common people, has become addicted to suck the blood of the people and said that this party, which spends billions of rupees in publicity and attempts to please its favourites, has been badly deviated from its alleged basic principles and added that Pb CM Bhagwant Mann who used to say that VVIP security will be abolished, the security has been increased the most for the Chief Minister in the state. He said that the ministers are having fun and all its expenses are being met by squeezing the blood of common people.
He said that increasing the rate of petrol by 61 paise and diesel by 92 paise per liter will only increase the prices of daily use items and this will affect the pocket of the common man only. He said that by increasing the electricity rate by three rupees per unit, the Punjab government has given a big blow to the common people.
Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi said that the common people of Punjab helped AAP win 92 seats to form the Aam Aadmi Party government and gave their full support to this party, but the Aam Aadmi Party has made life miserable for the people. He said that the people of Punjab who have formed the Aam Aadmi Party government today are very angry with this decision of the Punjab government and in the coming time full revenge will be taken from the Aam Aadmi Party government and the people will show the way out to Aam Aadmi Party from Punjab.
