Chandigarh : Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Ashmah international school sector-70 Mohali with great verve and enthusiasm. The students of senior classes conducted a special assembly where they dedicated songs and poems to the teachers. Students also honoured their respective teachers by taking up charge of the classrooms for two hours and taught the classes under the supervision of the teacher’s incharge and showcased their leadership qualities and knowledge.
The highlight of the day was ‘Anecdotes by Students’ an activity where students wrote a message for their special teacher telling her what difference she had made in their life. A movie show and gifts were arranged by the school management as a mark of respect for the teachers.
J.S Kesar, Dirctor Ashmah School motivated nation builders and thanked them.
Chairman Kesar said that teachers play a pivotal role in every student’s life. They are responsible for the overall development of the students and molding them into socially responsible citizens.
