The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm. This time the idol of Lord Ganesha will be installed tomorrow i.e. on September 7 with drum beats all over India.
Even in Mohali, the atmosphere of the festival can be seen. Every year Lord Ganeshs idol is installed in Phase 9 of Mohali with great enthusiasm and is attended by a large number of people, but this year the idol of Lord Ganesha will not be installed in the pandal of Phase 9 in Mohali , this information was shared by Ganesh Mahotsav Committee Chairman Ramesh Dutt. He said that the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will not be celebrated this year due to some un avoidable personal reasons.
Dutt mentioned that the mother of the founder member and former president of this committee, Manoj Verma, passed away a few days ago. Therefore, all the members of the committee have decided together that this time the idol of Lord Ganesha will not be installed in the Pandal of Phase 9.
Along with all this, he said that if anyone wants to install an idol of Ganesha in their house, they can do it and the band and other things will be provided by the committee.
