Kharar : Senior Captain Police, District S.A.S. Nagar, according to the guidelines of Deepak Parik, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Police during the campaign against bad elements Dr. Jyoti Yadav, Captain Police (Investigation) and Talwinder Singh Upp Katpan Police (Investigation) under the supervision of Inspector Harminder Singh, Incharge, CIA Staff Mohali Camp and Kharhar team arrested 05 accused in 02 separate cases and recovered 110 grams of heroin and 02 cars from them.
Dr Jyoti Yadav, Captain Police (Investigation) informed that on 03-09-2024, a police party of CIA staff was present at the blockade near Ambedkar Labor Union, Punjab, Kharar. During checking, a Marka Verna car with two youths was stopped and checked, from which 30 grams of heroin was recovered. Case No: 307 on 03-09-2024 was registered against the following accused. The accused are under police remand.
Similarly, on 05-09-2024, a police party of CIA staff was present at the blockade at Main Market, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Kharar. During the blockade and checking, a Swift car with three youths was stopped and checked, from which 80 grams of heroin was recovered. Case No: 309 was registered against the following accused. The accused are produced in court and remanded in police custody.
