Mohali : A goods carrier loaded truck got stuck on a road in the Industrial Area, Phase-1 Mohali as the corner of a road caved in.
The truck driver told the team The Aman Sandesh Times that the truck got stuck on the road when he tried to moved the truck to the side while giving way to a vehicle coming from the opposite side.
Truck driver said “I received no help during the night so I was left with no option but to stay stuck here. The concerned department should look after the conditions of the road as the lack of it can lead to major accidents and loss of life,” the truck driver said.
Manholes lying unattended in Industrial area
The commuters of Industrial Areas have also complained of manholes lying unattended for a week now.
“They should at least install sign board for the commuters and pedestrians to be aware of open manholes in the area,” told the commuters.
