Panchkula : At a time when youths from Punjab and Haryana are migrating for better opportunities abroad, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Panchkula Prem Garg is promising youth upgraded sports infrastructure and employment opportunities.
Prem Garg who has been in practice as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Panchkula for the last 40 years shared his plans for making the city well-rounded for youth so that they don’t have to move abroad for a better life.
“There should be a playground that caters to two or three sectors, and the city should have 2-3 well-maintained public swimming pools,” said Prem Garg stressing the importance of physical and mental well-being.
Garg who is a Lord Krishna devotee and has been associated with ISKON Temple Panchkula should have at least one medical college and one University and growing industrial units.
“Since the cost of an industrial plot in Panchkula is between 10-20 crores, I believe that a cluster of villages with the help of incentives should set small units of industries that will help the youth to find jobs in their area. Rather than bringing people from outside to run these units, the village youth should be trained and provided jobs. This will provide jobs to 100s of youth directly and many others indirectly as transportation, supply, and import of raw material will be required to run these units,” added Prem Garg.
Haryana will go to the polls on October 5 and the results for both Haryana and JK will be declared on October 8.
