Gurdaspur : Shots were fired at the principal of a private school in Gurdaspur by unknown persons late at night when he was returning to his home in a car.
Principal Harpinder Pal Singh Sandhu says that two years ago a ransom of Rs 10 lakh was demanded from him through a phone call.
Sandhu said that when he received extortion calls from foreign numbers, he was also provided security by the police and the gate was given to him as a gunman for two months.
Principal Sandhu said that he immediately informed the police of the concerned police station about the attack, after which the SHO immediately sent a police party to the spot. An investigation has been started by the police in this case.
