Indian Army’s Airawat division complete cycle expedition

Ambala : The Airawat Division of the Indian Army has successfully concluded its exhilarating Nako Cycle Expedition, covering a remarkable 620 kilometers across the scenic terrains of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
Flagged off by Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding of the Kharga Corps, the expedition featured 45 cyclists from the CAVALRY unit who braved the challenging journey over 20 days.
The cyclists navigated through picturesque landscapes and culturally rich areas, passing through key towns such as Nako, Somling, Batal, Manali, Mandi, Bilaspur, and ultimately reaching Ambala.
This expedition was not only a test of endurance and adventure but also aimed to foster a sense of nationalism among the youth and strengthen ties with Indian Army veterans in the region.
During their journey, the cyclists actively engaged with local communities, learned about regional cultures, and spread awareness about the Indian Army’s role and contributions. They also interacted with army veterans and participated in environmental conservation activities, reinforcing the Army’s commitment to sustainability and community service.
