Mohali : Brookfield International school organized educational excursion to satisfy the natural instinct of curiosity for the students Shivalik range . The exploration was fun, entertainment as well as educational for them. It was indeed a thrilling treat for both students as well as teachers as they were engaged in mind games and adventure activities like Rock Climbing, Bridge and Tunnel Crossing and Jumping Jacks, Obstacle Climbing .Flying fox was also taught to the students which is an effective exercise for the arms, upper back and core. Such exercises are useful at the time of natural disasters. It demands entire body and sometimes even more so on mind also. In order to boost their energy and morale the students were divided into various groups.
Manav Singla President informed at the moment that such trips and excursions are a perfect way to expand one’s horizon. Hence, we give our students opportunities to explore and learn about what lies beyond the four walls of the school and gain confidence to take on the world. After refreshing their mind they generally return with a fresh enthusiasm for studies. He further added that such trip provide students opportunities to sharpen important life skills related to communication, teamwork, problem solving , leadership and risk management.
